BOWLER – The North Star Mohican Casino Resort will reopen Tuesday after closing for more than two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The casino, which is run by the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, will reopen at 8 a.m Tuesday with adjusted hours and offerings and additional safety protocols, according to a news release from the casino. It closed its doors March 21.

North Star Mohican Casino Resort is OPEN. When you stay at the Mohican RV Park, the towering trees right in the casino’s backyard surround you, with 24/7. All resort and casino operations will cease on September 24 at 5 pm, and North Star says a tentative re-opening date is after October 13. BOWLER, WI (WSAU) — A local casino will be shutting its doors for over 3 weeks. According to a Facebook post, North Star Mohican Casino Resort and Pine Hills Golf Course is voluntarily shutting.

Once it reopens, the casino will close daily from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. for deep cleaning. Bingo, table games, the RV park, buffet and self-service drink stations will remain closed, and all shows, entertainment, conventions and events in May and June have been canceled.

Entertainment beyond July is being evaluated and scheduling will be based on lifting social distancing restrictions, according to the casino.

Everyone who enters the casino will have their temperature checked and must wear a mask. Smoking will not be allowed inside the casino. Areas in the casino have been reconfigured for social distancing and the casino will provide hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes.
